DynaMyte

Some find this device difficult to program, but I had no problem programming it to meet my student's needs. Programming the DynaMyte is similar to linking web pages together. For example, the student presses the button with a picture of the school he gets a pop-up screen that is linked to the first page. On the pop-up screen, he has several more choices such as schedule, computer, snack and other activities that occur during the school day. If he chooses computer he brings up another pop-up screen with choices for the computer, one of which is web sites choices that leads to another pop-up screen. Touching the buttons brings up a new screen much the same way that clicking on an Internet link takes the user to a new page. By teaching myself how to program D’s device, I am able to input choices when the need arises without waiting for someone the Assistive Tech department to do it
